I’m a licensed professional counselor with 9 years of experience across therapeutic day treatment, community-based counseling, and both inpatient and outpatient care. I’ve worked with clients aged 5-65 and am passionate about serving my community, with a focus on cultural sensitivity and LGBTQIA+ affirmation. I hold a bachelor’s degree in human development and family sciences and a master’s in clinical mental health counseling.

I am client-centered and adaptable, meeting individuals where they are in their healing process. I bring an eclectic approach to therapy, using DBT, EMDR, IFS, Trauma-focused CBT, strength-based therapy, and mindfulness. I specialize in fostering self-compassion, self-forgiveness, and improved self-esteem, particularly for clients healing from trauma, including intergenerational trauma, improving relationships, and developing coping strategies.

One can expect a gentle, calm, warm, personable, and compassionate approach in therapy sessions with me. I believe that creating a safe and supportive environment is essential for meaningful growth and healing. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or simply looking for guidance on your personal journey, I am here to listen without judgment, help you navigate your emotions, and provide the tools you need to create positive change in your life. My approach is rooted in understanding, patience, and respect for your individual process. I am committed to helping you uncover your inner strengths and build resilience, no matter where you are on your path.

I am a passionate advocate for both mental health and social justice. I believe mental health is just as essential as physical health, and everyone can benefit from therapy whether it’s to process a tough day or simply have an unbiased space to talk. Seeking therapy isn’t reserved for times of crisis; prioritizing mental health and well-being is valuable at any stage. In my free time, I enjoy going to the beach, going on hikes with my dog, playing board games, traveling, and exploring new restaurants.
