Brielle Carter
Resident in Counseling
“To life they were dedicated; now that should be celebrated” – Twenty One Pilots.
Music finds a way to capture me better than I can at times. Hello, I am glad you are here. My name is Brielle, and I am a thrifting, animal-loving, neurodivergent nature enthusiast who leads with empathy and curiosity. You can usually find me outside, soaking up the sun and happily tending to my garden. I view our therapeutic relationship similarly: an authentic, genuine alliance that prioritizes your well-being and offers a space to process, explore, and grow.
I utilize a holistic, integrative approach while validating the uniqueness of each individual. When working alongside children, I embrace child-centered play therapy aspects to help them feel in control and build upon their self-esteem. I enjoy working with teens and young adults, integrating cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to help reframe unhealthy thinking and improve emotional regulation. Additionally, I am passionate about working with adults concerning spirituality, alternative lifestyles, and life transitions.
Let’s laugh until we cry, or cry until we laugh…we can sit in silence, take a walk, or play a song that speaks to you. This space is for you to show up exactly as you are. As someone who sees a counselor herself, I believe it to be a rare opportunity to honor and reintroduce the parts we have hidden from ourselves and others to survive in this world. There is a world inside of you that deserves to be heard; I’m all ears.
