I graduated with my Master of Education in Counseling and Human Development from Lindsey Wilson College. I specialize in coping with chronic illness and disability, recovering from spiritual and religious abuse and I also help parents navigate parenting challenges through a compassionate and responsive lens.
My main treatment modality is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, which aims to use your own strengths and personal values to navigate your unique hurdles to get back to living a full and satisfying life.
I am Trans affirming, LGBTQIA+ allied, poly/kink allied, and sex worker allied. I have quite an eclectic knowledge base of different spiritual and religious beliefs, different chronic health conditions, including some rare diseases, and an expansive knowledge of development and responsive parenting skills.
I also love teaching and advocacy work! I’m a Developmental Psychology adjunct professor at Germanna Community College, and I volunteer with Mental Health America of Fredericksburg. I am also working on forming a few skill and support groups for the local community.
