As a person centered and trauma focused therapist, I enjoy helping others who are seeking growth, recovery and healing. I have experience working with children, adolescents and adults struggling with depression, grief, anxiety, mood disorders, and other co-occurring issues through a trauma lens. I use different treatment modalities that are the most appropriate for the client‘s presenting needs. My journey is unusual, I grew up in Paris and moved to the US when I was 22. I traveled in many countries and being from another country helps me appreciate cultural differences. I went back to school to get my bachelor in psychology at Mary Washington University then my master in social work at VCU and got my License Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in 2013. I have more than20 years of experience in the helping profession. From wrap around to 7 years providing intensive counseling in home services for families in crisis to working in the school setting with middle and high schoolers providing counseling and crisis management. My passion is to help others grow and heal the wounds. I enjoy helping clients understand the impact of their history/trauma and attachment history on their present level of functioning and relating to others.
